There's reflective trim around the entire coat making it indispensable for those dark or low-light walks. It fastens securely at the neck with velcro and an adjustable nylon strap with toggle buckle, and it fits snugly to the body with two fully adjustable nylon straps that criss-cross around the body forming an "x" underneath and fastens with toggle buckles. Your leash can attach to a securely sewn on D-ring letting the coat work as a safe and comfortable harness. (Harness use recommended only for small or well-trained dogs.)
